  • Collage is a technique I have used for many years to create an intricate surface on my felts. They are rich in shading and texture.

With the addition of many fibres and fabrics we will create at least 2 wall hangings that can be enhanced with stitch and appliqué.
You may decide to turn yours into a bag or cushions or as an addition to a garment.
Collage felts provide the perfect opportunity to utilise all those little snippets and odd little leftovers that don’t seem at all useful, but really come into their own in these works.

You know those lovely tiny treasures that you can’t bear to throw out? Collage them – definitely Collage them!

Hoping to see you in class!……………………………….

My name is Elizabeth Armstrong and I am very proud to say “ I have been a full time felter for 23 years”. I run a home studio where I work and teach adult students.
I have also worked as an Artist in Residence for the last 15 years, specialising in Primary where large felt installations are created.
Teaching appointments have taken me to many parts of Australia, America the United Kingdom and I have exhibited and taught in South Korea.
